Richard Winstead and Paul Bell realized that the one thing missing in today's entertainment industry is the one thing that audiences thrive on... VARIETY! Thus the humble beginnings of the "Sounds of Time".
As a young performing artist, Richard packed up and moved out to Nashville, Tennessee... During his stay, he made a good living wooing and mesmerizing audiences all over the Nashville Area! As time, life, and fate would have it, Richard ended up back in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Richard is a well known in local entertainment world as being a hard worker and having passion for his art. Very few voices can make you live in a song the way Richard can! Paul Bell started his musical career in his teens as a drummer and backup singer for several bands. His entertainment projects have included local and regional theatre, film, and radio, and his adventures lead him to Knoxville, Tennessee in 2012 where he began his Recording journey! "Tides of Time" was realized in October 2012 on the Big Mama Studio Label, and "Going Strong" was released in October 2013 on the Digitrax Studio Label.
Both of these artists have numerous musical influences from decades of iconic artists. Their combined love, passion, and obsession for music results in their offering to you... "The Sounds Of Time"!

Kirk Lasalle Kirk is the resident rocker with The "Sounds Of Time", and has established himself as an impressive and skilled vocalist. While Rock may be his primary strength, you'll be hard pressed to find a genre that he doesn't excel at! He was born in Carrollton, TX and was raised and still lives In Virginia Beach, VA. His top musical Influences have been from Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, and Meat Loaf (the singer, not the entrée).
|
Paul Butler The "other Paul" was born in Franklin, VA where he still lives! Paul is easily recognizable as the Bass Voice of the group. Some of his favorite musical influences have been Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and his personal fave - Little Jimmy Dickens. |
Ken Wellington Born in Keene, NH, Ken now calls Virginia Beach, VA his home. He has a broad range of musical influences starting with his uncle Rusty Wellington - a nationally performing Rock-A-Billy artist. While there are literally too many others to list, some of his most important influences include Englebert Humperdink, Tom Jones, Ronnie McDowell, and of course (wait for it...) Elvis Presley.
|
Richard Winstead One of the master-minds behind the "Sounds of Time", Richard was born in Norfolk, VA and after a rather extensive run in Nashville, TN, came back to live in Virginia Beach.
